These plates were wheel thrown, with Cone 10 porcelain, trimmed, and slowly dried. I freehanded a light sketch on to the plate, and then painted them with commercial underglaze. Additional line details were painted in a 2nd layer. A light splatter of thin underglaze applied to the underside of each plate before being finally coated in a food safe, clear glaze.
