In 2017 I started a project called “12 Days of Solstice” where I illustrated a sign in the zodiac, one a day, for 12 days, leading up to the Winter Solstice.

I gave myself a limited color palette and template to work into. A loose sketch was done digitally for each piece, then transferred onto 300 lb Hot Press Arches Watercolor Paper.

The paintings were completed in gouache, watercolor, and metallic acrylic.
